My Adventures

Amy (A.C.) Williams - Author. Nerd. Friend of Jesus.

acwilliams.author

I write books (Superheroes, Sci-fi/Fantasy, Action-Comedy-Romance, Devotional), love ramen, and laugh a lot. Wanna be friends?

I haven't posted in a while. Life has been a chall I haven't posted in a while. Life has been a challenge in recent months. So much more challenging than I ever thought life could be. Don't get me wrong, I expected difficulties and hard choices and painful partings. I guess I just never anticipated how grief lingers, how deeply loss can cut.

I honestly don't even know how or where to start processing it all. I'm hopeful I can share more about the journey the Lord has had me on these last two years or so. But until I have the words for it all, here's a pretty picture. I snapped this photo on Galveston Island during my disastrous "vacation" in January (more stories lol).

I love sunrises. They are always new and different, the start of something we've never seen before, a day that hasn't existed yet, opportunities we haven't experienced and blessings we've yet to uncover. Sunrises mean hope because yesterday is done. What was has gone; what's coming is new. And even though new steps can be scary and uncertain and you don't know what you'll find, the potential for what could be is worth the risk of moving forward.

So look up. The sun is rising. Something new is waiting on the other side of what you know. And, weary soul, it is good.

But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. (Isaiah 43:18-19)
Have you ever wanted to know the future? Well, you Have you ever wanted to know the future? Well, you can. How is it possible? Well, there’s this book, you see, and it was written by the One who created time itself. So time is irrelevant to Him. He is above time, beyond time, so He has access to the future, and He is eager to share it with us. If you want to know your future, you can find it in the pages of God’s Word. Because each and every one of us has a future, and the choice we make today will determine which future we get to experience.
Anybody else already excited about taking a nap th Anybody else already excited about taking a nap this weekend? I love this time of year, but it does get crazy with all the social events and expectations. Just be sure you guys are all taking care of yourselves. Everyone will enjoy the holidays so much more when every person is well rested. #ZippyCat has the right idea. She just takes a nap whenever and wherever she feels like it. I might start following her example.... 😅
So if our relationship with God is all we actually So if our relationship with God is all we actually need, why do we need each other? Why do we need community? Where do we get the idea that unity even matters to God? If God divided people in the Old Testament and then came as Jesus to divide people further, does He even want us to be unified? That’s what we’re going to be talking about this week on Always Peachy.

SHE'S HERE!! Everybody, meet Reena Ellis and her c SHE'S HERE!! Everybody, meet Reena Ellis and her cute, cuddly, grumpy sidekick, Bast! Reena Elliss and the Pink Panda Problem is NOW AVAILABLE.

You can find her at my direct store (ebook or paperback), on Amazon (ebook and paperback), and at most other online retailers (ebook)! You can find the links in my bio.

Ordering direct from me does provide me with a better income, BUT Amazon is dragging its feet with my shipment. So I don't have books in stock yet. So if you want a paperback and don't mind waiting a few weeks, order from me (and I might include something special as a thank you!).

I'm so excited, guys! Reena's store has been a long time in coming, and I can't wait for you all to meet her.

🌟🌟🌟

Reena Ellis has a big problem.

When she found a mysterious rock in her dad's office, she picked it up. She didn't expect it to hatch!

A cute, fluffy, pink red panda popped out of it and escaped into the city. So now Reena has to chase it down and catch it before her dad finds out.

But catching the pink red panda is just the beginning of the problem, because the cute little fluffy creature isn't actually a red panda. Sort of like Reena isn't just a fourteen-year-old girl.

The little red panda is the key to a secret Reena's dad has been hiding for her entire life.
REENA ELLIS is a child genius. She's brilliant at REENA ELLIS is a child genius. She's brilliant at computer programming, physics, quantum mechanics, and many other technological and scientific skill sets. She entered the Peregrine Academy when she was 10 and graduated in two years, joining the Peregrine Agency as a senior-level analyst at the age of 12. But her one goal has always been to become a full-fledged Peregrine Agent, just like her hero and mentor Jim Taylor.

Now that she's 14, Reena takes the agent exam... and fails.

She's so afraid to break the news to Jim and to her family. They have all invested so much in her, and this is how she repays them?

But that's not the worst of it. Reena accidentally releases a mysterious pink red panda that hatched from a rock in her dad's home office. She doesn't know how her father got it, but that won't matter if she can't catch the furry troublemaker and get it home safely!

Can Reena catch the red panda? Is the red panda actually a red panda? And what was it doing in her dad's office?

Reena Ellis and the Pink Panda Problem launches on October 29!

What is the Heirs of the Mazzaroth series? Since I What is the Heirs of the Mazzaroth series? Since I've spent the better part of 30 years building it, I figured I ought to start talking about it. The Heirs of the Mazzaroth series is a massive, multi-part multi-series universe of superhero adventure stories that I began imagining when I was 9 years old. I will turn 42 in October, so you do that math. ;-)

I wrote the first story in this wild, crazy series when I was 11, and that set me off on a journey to becoming a full-time author and/or storyteller. Since the idea was born in my brain, I've imagined multiple spin-off series, intricately connected worlds and cultures, and entire galaxies full of incredible characters and stories. But the primary idea has always revolved around three specific series:

- The Legend of the Lightkeepers
- REISHOSAN: Samurai Defenders
- The Dragons of the Diamond Throne

And by the end of October (Lord willing) for the first time since I started this incredible storytelling journey, I will have a book in all three series available. So I thought maybe I ought to start being a little more vocal about what I'm doing with this series.

Originally I wrote these for the "old millennials" because I wanted to write a story that I wanted to read. And that worked. But all the old millennials gave my stories to their kids, which is how I started realizing that these stories are actually bringing families together.

More information is available for each series on my website (link in bio), especially on the page I built for the awesome new Superhero Web Link project one of my friends is running. But all three of these series have similar themes:

- The importance of community
- Finding and valuing your identity
- And understanding that some battles are too big for you to fight without help

Also ... in the words of my editor, "Never underestimate the cool factor." Because these characters are just a ton of fun. Most of them are unbearably cool... and the rest of them are socially awkward and adorkable.

If you want to know more about the Heirs of the Mazzaroth series, you can visit my website, or you can follow me here. The fun is just getting started!

People unite based on political affiliation, relig People unite based on political affiliation, religious background, language or region, or any other means of categorization. And, don’t get me wrong, none of those things are necessarily bad. A group of people working together to achieve something together is the technical definition of unity, but when does unity become something more dangerous? That's our topic on Always Peachy this week!
